My grandfather, Papa lived the American Dream.
Papa was eight years old when his family moved from Ireland to the Texas frontier, where thy lived in a tent for their first couple of years. At fourteen, he got a full time job as a laborer in a saw mill. He gradually worked his way up, overcoming challenges, until ending his career as the president of a company with more than fifty stores spread over the Southwestern States.
Intended for Middle School and older, this book takes the form of Papa relating his experiences to his daughters.
