Spoon Feeding

When somebody is doing something for me, I am not getting the exercise that would strengthen my abilities. There are plenty of times that I want help, but I am always better off when I remain an active participant in my life rather than becoming a passive spectator.

If I try to help someone by doing something for them, they miss out on the thinking and/or skill that would let them take ownership of the solution.

Knowledge accumulates in layers. Each addition allows us to rise to a point that allows us to see farther into the horizon. Curiosity and science are never fully satisfied.
